Help a Local Business and Get Real World Experience – Win $1,000 & Resume Bragging Rights

Career Immersion & Leadership Institute's Business Case Competition is returning for another year. This competition is a collaboration between several organizations to create relevant experiences for college students to work on real business situations.

The intent of this competition is to help a local company meet their business goals while giving students hands-on experience.

Competition Details

Students Teams from Regional Colleges and Universities compete to deliver real world solutions to a local small business. Student Team must have a Faculty Sponsor to join the competition.
A local New Orleans business in need of business scaling assistance is selected from our Economic Development Partners.
Teams will attend a short briefing session to meet the Business Owner and ask questions.
Students have 4 weeks to develop a winning plan. A professional coach will be available for each team.
Teams present their plan in November at a PITCH NIGHT Event.
A panel of Business Leaders along with the Business Owner forms a Panel of Judges.
The winning team will be awarded $1,000 1st Place and $500 for 2nd Place, resume bragging rights!
