Each year, CILI welcomes a cohort of nearly 40 fellows for a year of personal and professional development. Our goal is to ease the transition from academic to adult life by arming you with the skills and experience you need to succeed in the workplace.
CILI offers fellows a safe space to gather with peers and professionals invested in your success, provides one-on-one soft skill coaching, and hosts monthly full-team workshops and discussions on a range of topics including:
Interview skills
Resume building
Workplace etiquette
Personal finances
Networking
Time management
...and more!
We also help place our Fellows in paid summer internships at industry-leading employers across the state of Louisiana. Since 2021, nearly 90% of our fellows have completed paid internships at more than 20 different local employers, with many then receiving internship extension or full-time job offers.
"In 5 years, what would you like people to say about your CILI Cohort?" “The CILI Class of 2021 is full of young, determined professionals who are building their industry-related knowledge and experiences through internships and development sessions. The fellows hope and dream that one day others will be inspired by us to unify and achieve something extraordinary. It is a growth-focused community, and together we support our individual journeys in actualizing our potential.” - 2021 Cohort “CILI took committed, driven students and developed them into highly skilled people that, in-turn, became valuable forces in the workplace. By giving these fellows opportunities to speak to successful women and men in different professions, CILI inspired its fellows to follow their own path with grit. They all have shown the potential to be impactful leaders. As individuals and as a team, the 2022 Cohort aims to inspire those who come after us by saying, 'You too have the resources around you to become your best self—professionally and personally!'” - 2022 Cohort |
