What are your career goals?
As a nursing major with experience as both a Population Health Intern and a Prevention Intern, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how community health initiatives, education, and policy intersect to influence patient outcomes. These experiences have deepened my interest in the political and systemic factors that shape healthcare delivery and accessibility. I’m particularly passionate about exploring how evidence-based policy can reduce health disparities and improve population health on a broader scale. My long-term goal is to become a nurse leader who not only provides high-quality, compassionate care but also advocates for meaningful healthcare reform. I hope to continue building the skills needed to bridge clinical practice and policy development, contributing to more equitable and effective healthcare systems.
